I don’t know about you, but now that it’s mid October, my social feeds are filled with holiday planning posts. From hosting tips with fresh recipes, to what to wear for each soiree, my mind is already thinking about the holiday season. I love my comfy athleisure wear as much as the next active mom, but some of my favorite retailers are posting their holiday looks and here are a few of the things I can’t wait to wear this party season! Even better, they’re affordable!
If you like these options, find more products I’m currently coveting!
Velvet Pant Suit
I’m a fan of this affordable velvet pant suit option from Old Navy. I linked the pants and the blazer; I plan to mix and match them separately to create other looks. I love the classic black, but if you’re feeling especially festive, the winter green is pretty, too. Pants with pockets? Yes, please!!!
Feathered Clutch
This unique clutch is a bit of a splurge for me. The Santorini bag was one of my favorites last year and J Crew added new colors for this season. The bright pink feathered bag captured my attention, but the black one would be perfect for a monochromatic look with the velvet pantsuit. Regardless, add one of these to your specialty bag collection!
Hinge Bracelet
Clearly I’m a fan of the monochromatic look and often during the holiday season I opt for an all black outfit. This chunky hinge bracelet is a simple way to add some oomph to my style. Bright and festive, this is a great choice for a bracelet stack. Pair it with some of J Crew’s other bracelets for a mixed metal look.
Bow Accent Pumps
Okay, rounding out my affordable holiday pieces are these cute little heels! I just found these bow accent pumps from Target and can’t wait to add some subtle blue to my winter dress clothes. The sparkly straps make this heel super festive. With several color options, I don’t see any of them lasting long. So go ahead and order these!

Tinsel Tweed Pant
I just found this classic wide leg trouser with a hint of sparkle and honestly I want to wear them everyday! Tweed is a timeless fabric and the subtle hint of tinsel, these pants are festive for the holidays and can be paired with neutrals for everyday wear into the new year. How will you style these beauties?

Wow! Thanks for sharing! It’s been so long since I’ve dressed up for any occasion.
Me too! But I love the idea of dressing up every once in a while!
