Recently in North Carolina it’s gotten chilly enough for cozy boots, sweaters, and scarves. At the moment I am loving these classic Ugg Mini boots! They are perfect for me to slip on to drive the kids to school or run around town. They are basically street legal slippers and I embrace their cozy comfort!

While J Crew is my personal favorite (I’ve been known to call them my second favorite J!), they also have great options for the men in your life. I can’t resist a great pair of shoes, and these boots are simple perfection.

We are big fans of Champion gear at our house. While G rarely wears an actual winter coat, he lives in hoodies and fleece pullovers if the temps drop too much.
S loves to be cute and cozy. This hat/glove combo from Champion packs the perfect punch of cute for our best girl.

We can’t leave our big fella, Bronx out! We do a lot of auto shipping thanks to Chewy!
Here are a few of Bronx’s favorite things:
Our big fella loves his treats. I tend to buy some variation of these from Hill’s. Bronx favors the apple and oatmeal version or the chicken flavored ones.
We have to keep our GSD entertained and Kong products tends to be the most indestructible and resistant to his strong jaws! His absolute favorite toy is this tug of war type chew toy. Though fair warning, he tends to grab it in the middle, so watch your fingers!
Perhaps the most ordered product for Bronx is his food. The big fella tends to graze, but we like to have a bag on hand ready to keep him well nourished. Bronx has skin allergies, so we opted for this Purina Pro brand to keep his skin irritation at bay.

We scored this perfect cordless vacuum for Christmas and in the last week we’ve used it several times! Perfect for the pet friendly house, it’s super light weight and easy to empty and use in various rooms around the house. You won’t regret this purchase! 🙂
As we’re heading into the winter holidays, I recall decorating my grandmother’s house for Christmas. As soon as she cleared the Thanksgiving dinner dishes, that was our cue that we could begin decorating her home. I remember as a kid thinking how magical it was that we got to dig through her boxes of decorations and select just the right spot for her Nativity set. Now looking back at it, she was brilliant…she got all of us to get the big boxes out, give her a head start, and then once we were all gone she could put the final touches on it!
One of my favorite parts of the holiday is the smell of fresh pine. Each year since Jay and I got married, I’ve burned this Mistletoe scented candle in our home.
