In this post I highlight some of the women owned businesses I follow on Instagram and why I think you should too!
Perhaps the coolest aspect of engaging in personal writing and blogging is connecting with fellow creatives. Many of these women are moms, entrepreneurs, and experts in their fields. Here I highlight five accounts I’m following on Instagram and why you should too! Hint hint: holiday season is quickly approaching, don’t forget to shop small!
I love connecting with Jen because she and I share similar life circumstances. We are moms to active kiddos and working hard to support our families. I recently started working with her on ensuring I’m making healthy fitness decisions, especially as I age (hello, birthday month is right around the corner!). I love her enthusiasm and positivity as I work to develop consistent fitness and healthy habits. Follow her to see what she is up to!
My friend Lindsay has an Etsy shop with all manner of swag to ensure every sports mom is the cutest on the sideline! We bonded over her quippy mug, ‘the only BS I need is baseball season’ (hilarious and a touch of language, I INSTANTLY LOVED IT!)! My favorite tee shirt line from her shop is ‘Most Likely to….’ insert a fun descriptor from your sport. If you need a good graphic tee for sports mom Saturday (or any day of the week), look no further than her shop.
Rachel and her mom design and create jewelry. We’ve been friends since we graduated college and Rachel has created several pieces for me to wear. I love her bracelets that she makes in the kids’ team colors, so I’m always accessorizing for game day! She has items for sale, but will also create custom pieces. Follow her for more details and to see her pieces.
Jenna is an educator, literacy coach, and started her own tutoring business. Of course, the word nerd and educator mom in me loves her passion for helping kids achieve their literacy goals! Plus, she’s a cool chick, follow her to learn more about services she provides families to support kids’ reading.
From beautiful photography to colorful abstract pieces, Becca Lynn Creative features original art. One of Becca’s pieces is featured prominently on my desk. The colors inspire and were thoughtfully created with my aesthetic in mind. Follow her to see what she creates next!
